I have been asked many times, why soap and stones? 

At a particularly challenging time, a friend suggested I carry some stones with me to give me personal strength and to help dispel negativity in the workplace so every day I started to carry a small stone with me tucked away in my clothing. I began to notice subtle changes around me. For instance, a co-worker known for their aggressive communication began to ‘measure her words’ and speak more politely; instead of demanding project updates, my supervisor began requesting information. I also discovered an untapped inner strength that I did not know I had.

My curiosity was piqued so I began to experiment with a collection of small tumble stones. Gathering them up in the morning, I closed my eyes and asked my heart “what gemstone is my protector today?” I would get home and read up on the stone I had carried with me all day. Time and again, the description of the stone’s healing and protective properties were perfect for that day’s events!

Soon everyone around me was using gemstones. I loved sharing them with others, helping and supporting my family, friends and co-workers with the power of crystals and gemstones.

I longed to share the amazing experience of gemstones with everyone. The question then became - how could I introduce and make accessible this beautiful gift of the earth to those who are not familiar with crystals and gemstones? My “aha!” moment was, where else, but in the shower! It just seemed a natural fit - what better way to start your day than lathering yourself in a rich and emollient soap and, at the same time, bathing yourself in the universe’s natural gift of love, healing, and hope?
